Shed Tours

As last year, the Shed Tours have been scheduled to coincide with GCR Galas

The timetable for 2026 is as follows:-

January  24th & 25th, Winter Steam Gala

February/March 28th & 1st, Spring Steam Gala

April 18th & 19th, Road/Rail/Steam

May 30th & 31st, 1940's Gala

June 20th & 21st, Swapmeet

July 4th & 5th, Living Railway

August 1st & 2nd, Portable Railway

September 5th & 6th, Diesel Gala

October 3rd & 4th, Autumn Steam Gala

November 14th & 15th, Last Hurrah Gala

The first tour of the day is at 10:30 and the last starts at 15:30.

The tour gives you a chance to see restoration, overhaul and repair work in progress and hear about the place of 'Boscastle' in the story of the Great Central Railway. There is no charge for tours, but a donation on the day towards the overhaul of 'Boscastle' would be appreciated.
