Tender

In the last quarter, much time and effort has gone into getting the tender steam heat and vacuum pipework to fit correctly, with the pipes stripped down to component parts where necessary and new sections fitted.

Threaded joint sections have been welded in to both pipe runs and several brackets adjusted and extended to the correct length. This is now largely complete with a couple of new brackets required under the front dragbox to replace corroded originals and the pipe work requiring removing, painting and final fitting.
